Our Associates
The need for innovation and testing of products by advanced specialists, combined with the necessity of having to find ever-more competitive but excellent raw materials has meant that Ulysses had to team up with firms abroad of a similar ethos.
Thus the association with Polypex (Trading) Limited (a company that was formed in 1987) in the UK was born. This helped Ulysses grow faster and with a stronger base in product lines. Polypex (Trading) Limited further helped by handling many of the shipments in an efficient, honest and ethical manner right from inception.
Subsequently Polypex (Trading) Limited moved its operations to the U.A.E in 2007. Being the hub of the Middle East and also being a more central location for the sourcing and banking operations worldwide, Dubai (or the nearby Sharjah) was the perfect choice. It was easier to operate under a new name and so the U.A.E. based Carlantics FZE continues to deal with a number of suppliers worldwide, provide logistical and financial support through their credit facilities and participate actively in the research and development of new products or in the refinement of existing ones. Today Carlantics FZE is well established, enjoying the support of the long term suppliers of Polypex and its newly found sources; besides the extensive help from the international bank Standard Chartered. Carlantics use laboratories in the United Kingdom for testing and analysis of new products and also for quality control.
Similarly Ulysses has teamed up with Amro Investments Pvt Ltd, since September, 1997. Amro Investments which operates from the heart of the business district in Mumbai has sourced and supplied made to order production machinery, supervised trials and certified the quality. It has also sourced and supplied supporting utility equipment and raw materials and provided a complete package of after sales support.
This guided support has allowed Ulysses to fast track development of varied products in the fields of the household hygienic and cosmetic industry. The need for innovation and testing of products by advanced specialists, combined with the necessity of having to find ever-more competitive but excellent raw materials has meant that Ulysses had to team up with firms abroad of a similar ethos.
